Chest Up, Shoulders Back.

My name is M.K. Angeletti. You can call me Matthew, or the BUL(KING), but you probably know me best as REVIVAL Fitness on YouTube.

When I started lifting in college, I was probably much like you — eager, but uninformed. I had an ideal physique and big PRs in mind, and I stopped at nothing to (try) and achieve these goals. I religiously hit the gym six days per week, spending 2+ hours there each day. I ate all the chicken, rice, and broccoli I could get my hands on. If I wasn’t busy with work or school, I was watching yet another video on how to get big fast. This was my life for nearly three years.

And… I didn’t come close.

I never sniffed a two plate bench press. I never had visible abs. I never looked ‘big’ in clothes, even small sizes. For the icing on the cake, I hurt myself regularly due to bad form and too much fatigue.

Why? I was trapped in novice purgatory. I fell for the BS from hustlers online, promising to get me jacked and ripped with ‘special’ techniques and exercises in unfathomable timeframes. I followed their advice to the letter, and yet, I made snail’s pace progress, despite being a spry novice with peaking testosterone levels. While it was a valuable learning experience, this is lost time I will never get back — and now I’m here to make sure you don’t make the same costly mistakes.

Consistency means nothing if it is not being applied properly. The hours you clock are irrelevant if you’ve gotten bad advice, both in the gym and the kitchen. You need both aspects optimized to get your dream body, in addition to ruthless consistency, even on the bad days. The serious lifting lifestyle is a true labor of love, even if the gains haven’t been loving you back to this point. Hindsight is painful, but realizing how much time you have lost to this point is great motivation to take care of business now.

Given the dumpster fire that is the fitness industry, though, it’s very easy to be overwhelmed. There is so much conflicting information, and there are boldfaced liars at every turn, whose goal — sadly enough — is to keep you small, weak, and confused, so you keep consuming their content and buying their products. A new study says this, another study says that. One guy says to train like this, another says to train like that. This dude says you need to focus on getting abs first, while that dude says focus on bulking up. How do you decide which path to take, and more importantly, how you do decipher who is being honest and objective? This is where real world experience and results trump all else, and I’ve gotten both with hundreds of clients, in person and online, over the years. You can see some testimonials here.

I got started in the trenches. After discovering what really worked for myself — based on plenty of trial and error — I finally began making rapid progress. Having experienced these stark differences firsthand, and seeing almost everybody else in the gym still struggling to get anywhere, I pursued fitness as a career. In 2019, I earned my personal training and nutrition certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Living in Los Angeles, California at the time, I worked with a vast sea of clientele of all backgrounds and body types. Within months, my schedule was packed, and I got more referrals than I could keep up with. Given the widespread success of my clients, I was soon promoted to manager of the gym’s entire PT department. I conducted fitness and diet assessments for new clients, oversaw the hiring and development of all new trainers, and ran seminars on the most effective training methods to be implemented.

Still, I was very sought after as a trainer. My clients wanted to continue working with me, as well as referring friends/family, and I had so many that I opted to leave the gym job and train privately. I primarily did this out of my condensed home gym, crammed in the would-be dining room of my one bedroom apartment in Hollywood. It’s a funny visual — lawyers, doctors, film producers, actors, and other very successful people pulled up in their fancy cars to my tiny bachelor pad multiple times per week to train — but I believe that is a testament to my knowledge and work ethic. When the pandemic lockdowns hit in 2020, I used that free time to start running my mouth online, and haven’t stopped since. Now, I’ve grown a global audience who have benefitted greatly from my work, and continue to do so.

While much of my clientele are guys aged 18-34, I’ve assisted men and women in every training and eating scenario imaginable. Whether it’s beginners who can barely grip the bar, senior citizens with numerous surgeries, athletes who need to improve on the field, or seasoned lifters seeking that extra edge to reach their next big goals, I have delivered them gains they previously thought were impossible. I’ve learned so much from training so many different types of people, and my knowledge continues to expand today.

I specialize in:

  • Training programming for size and strength, both holistically and for weak points

  • Exercise form, technique correction, and adjustments based on goals, body type, and past injuries

  • Fatigue management and routine adaptation based on individual circumstances and lifestyle factors

  • Nutrition guidance (effective bulking, cutting, or recomping) and troubleshooting to optimize body composition (more muscle with less fat + macro and micronutrient optimization)

  • Corrective stretching, increasing mobility, and range of motion improvement for the full body

  • Providing realistic expectations amongst a sea of body dysmorphic, delusional standards

Since discovering what actually works, I have made massive progress in both mind and body. In addition to content creation, most of my focus now is online coaching, where I educate and guide men from all over the world on a personal level to achieve their goals as fast as possible. I also offer a variety of workout programs for both novices and intermediates that have received excellent reviews. I routinely watch my clients and customers make rapid gains, far more than I ever could’ve imagined when I was in their position. My past self would never believe where I am now. My current self is only getting started. I will help you realize the same.
